We hear tons of stories from ‘Los and ‘Lettes all over the world traveling from their homes to the elusive Hatchet Landings in Cave-in-Rock, IL, for The Gathering of the Juggalos. Now we’re working to make it even easier for any Ninjas who want to go to do the damn thing!
We are doing this with THE OFFICIAL JUGGALO EXPRESS! What the fuck is that, you ask? Well, The Juggalo Express is going to go down in Hatchet History as the best way to make your trek to The 2011 Gathering of the Juggalos! It is a luxury coach bus which is decked out to the nines and its sole purpose is to get you to The Gathering in style!
The Juggalo Express features multiple flat screen televisions that will be playing Big Money Hustlas, Big Money Rustlas, various JCW shows, and more! Every seat reclines, has a moveable head rest, a foot rest, its own reading light, and an air fan! There is a bathroom on board the bus as well - so you'll have a place to dispose of your used Faygo! The bus is also equipped with luggage bays for our tents, suitcases, and whatever else you need to make your time at The 2011 Gathering of the Juggalos one to remember! But we will be hitting a Juggalo-Mart near The Gathering of the Juggalos to pick up whatever booze, food, toys and Nunchucks you may have forgotten.
Everyone who travels on The Juggalo Express will receive a commemorative Juggalo Express t-shirt so that you can pick out your fellow Juggalo Express crew at The Gathering. You will also get a Juggalo Survival Package filled with some essential shit that you'll need for the weekend!
Tickets for the ROUND TRIP BUS RIDE to and from The 2011 Gathering of the Juggalos will be $295! We know that's a chunk of cheddar, but when you think of it in comparison to a plane ticket, a car rental, gas for your vehicle, or however else you were plannin’ on gettin’ yourself to The Gathering of the Juggalos, it ain’t no thang. Please be aware that this price is strictly for your transportation to and from The Gathering of the Juggalos. It doesn’t include your ticket to actually get into the event! That’s separate and can be purchased on juggalogathering.com.
Currently, there is one Juggalo Express set in stone which will be departing from The Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. It will leave at 9:00pm on Wednesday, August 10th, with a planned arrival time to The Gathering of the Juggalos at 5:00pm on Thursday, August 11th - the first day of The Gathering of the Juggalos. The NYC Juggalo Express will depart the Hatchet Landing grounds at NOON on Monday, August 14th with a planned arrival time of 8:00am on Tuesday, August 16th. Tickets for that bus are on sale now, but space is limited!
If you’re not in the NYC area, have no fear! We’re hard at work getting more busses lined up where they’re needed! We want every Juggalo and Juggelette who wants to go to The 2011 Gathering of the Juggalos to have the option of getting there in style on The Juggalo Express!
